Crescent Academy is a charitable trust. It has a pivotal role for the educational, religious and cultural enhancement of the society and has been running for twelve years in Kottayam Dist. It is located in Vettiparambu Road, Aniyilappu, Erattupetta. Its foundation stone was laid in 2008 by Mufti Muhammad Ilyas Hazrath, Renowned Scholar & Govt. Qazi, Salem, Tamilnadu. Al-haj Muhammad Easa Manba'ee rendered prayer in the function.

Crescent Academy has a decade's long run history in servicing society. Crescent School of Special Education, the initial venture of Crescent Academy, is the first of its kind in South Kerala under Muslim Management.
Muhammad Nadeer Moulavi Baqavi
Muhammad Nadeer Moulavi, Founder Chairman of Crescent Academy, is the renowned scholar, orator and social activist in Kerala. He is also a founder chairman of Falahiya Islamic Academy, Changanachery, Snehalaya (Falahiya Girls Orphanage) Changanachery, Vadihuda Tharbiyyathul Banath, Kottayam and P M C Hospital , Erattupetta. He is the great grand child of Variam Kunnath Kunjahammad Haji, the great freedom fighter against British invasion in Kerala.
